Il a restitué les clés de la ville de Sfax. Il s’agit de la clé de Bab Jebli surtout, celle de Bab Bouchouicha est fonctionnelle. Ces clés de sésame avaient été à l’époque coloniale emportées par la France en 1881. C’est grâce à l’initiative de Raouf Ellouze qui avait déjà fait cette demande tout en sachant qu’Olivier Poivre d’Arvor était le Président du Conseil d’Administration du Musée National de la Marine française. La requête n’est pas tombée dans l’oreille d’un sourd mais dans celle très à l’écoute de tous les tunisiens depuis son arrivée. Ces clés sont enfin bien chez elles à Sfax et seront bientôt remises au futur Maire de la ville.
